To commemorate Disneyland’s 35th anniversary, host Harry Anderson takes you back in time on the Disneyland Railroad (accompanied by the score to Back to the Future) through the history of Disneyland's timeline. He shares amusing facts and trivia while showing many clips from classic Disney movies as well as footage of the park’s development and construction.

Walt Disney and Art Linkletter co-host a live celebration of Disneyland's 1959 expansion that consisted of the debuts of Matterhorn Bobsleds, the Disneyland-Alweg Monorail, and the Submarine Voyage, a project so massive that it was called "The Second Opening of Disneyland". Highlights include a mammoth, star-studded parade and the official launching of the Disneyland submarines by U.S. Navy officers. Among the guests are then-Vice-President Richard Nixon and family, Clint Eastwood, and Meredith Willson, who leads the Disneyland band in his own "76 Trombones." On April 11, 1992, The Grand Opening of Euro Disney aired on CBS, offering viewers a spectacular, entertainment-filled evening as well as a special “sneak preview” of the Euro Disney Theme Park and Resort. The special was simulcast live across Europe in five languages and broadcast later the same day in the United States. Each country’s customized broadcast was hosted by popular local celebrities, introducing entertainers from their own countries.
